I’ve had this look up on Instagram for weeks now, so sorry for the delay in sharing the deets. I’ve also been wearing this tunic on repeat along with several other easy dresses recently, so it’s possible you’ve seen me in person in this exact look. I’ve been doing some consulting work in an office (as opposed to my *home* office), so looking slightly more presentable is important.
Luckily it’s a casual environment so this dress fits the ticket! The navy blue & white stripes paired with the cognac-colored leather of the backpack is a fabulous combination. The tunic style dress is literally a 30-second outfit. It’s so easy yet so flattering. It’s not body con at all, yet it drapes so doesn’t look like a sack.
This backpack, though? It’s my favorite new accessory and the light yet rich brown is the leather color of the season. I can fit my laptop and all the 100s of chargers I seem to carry around with me, my Erin Condron planner, and my notebook. Plus some random snacks for the kids of course. The leather is firm and keeps its shape no matter how much you pack in it.
Do you want to know anything about my shoes? I’ll tell you one thing – you either love them, or strongly dislike them. I’m 100% in the LOVE camp for clogs, and I’ve been wearing them for years. The red is such a classic color pairing with navy, too.
So what do you think? Yay or nay?
