Anthropologie is one of my happy places. The scent alone draws me in, and I can get happily lost in their stores looking at the clothes, books, and fun home items for hours – well, if I’m shopping solo that is. I used to live dangerously close to one in Chicago and probably clocked more hours there than I did at the gym. It’s one of my go-to places for gifts. I mean, how unique and darling are these Spice Jars? We even have a supercool memory-type game for Bennett from there.
Overall, it’s such a creative space and great place for inspiration – for example, these scarf prints. I want these patterns on everything from clothes to curtains to pillows. This tunic strikes the genius balance of flattering and forgiving. The pattern is fresh and hip, but not too young. Pair it with leggings, boots, and a jean jacket for a casual day, or wear bare legs and chunky wedges for a date night out. I’m still rebuilding my wardrobe after buying mostly maternity clothes for four years, and I see a fun spring ahead frolicking in this tunic. More likely, the boys will be doing the frolicking; I’ll be the mama chasing after them.
