There’s nothing like a day spent with girlfriends! Last week, me, Julie and Megan started our day with a little Define. It was Megan’s first ever Define class, and coincidentally it was an “intermediate” aka more challenging class, and she did GREAT! So proud of her. We then grabbed some Starbucks and headed over to Abejas Boutique, all within a few blocks of each other.
Houston, have you been into Abejas Boutique? It’s tucked away in a small strip of stores (including Crave Cupcakes!) right off of Kirby. Easy to find and easy to park (side eye to the Rice Village shops) and full of gorgeous clothing and accessories. The palate is pretty neutral, the high-end brands are a mix of local and big name, and everything is styled in a very unique way. Even if you’re not in Houston, you can shop online and through their Instagram feed.
This here is what I call outfit perfection. Distressed denim, a clean white shirt, locally designed necklace, leather sandals (it’s fall, but it’s Houston) and this killer springbok clutch.
I can spend hours in Abejas – there’s so much to look at and a range of prices. But if you’re in a hurry, the team there is fantastic and so so helpful. They will point you in the right direction of what you’re looking for and what you need.
Because we’re coming up on holiday season, I grabbed a few items perfect for gifting. This Maison Louis Marie oil is my newest obsession. I bought No. 4, but they are made for layering so you can create your own signature scent. Next up, the screw-on bracelets in silver, rose gold or gold. They look great on their own or with a stack. Bottom left: Clare V foldover clutches. I can’t choose which one I like the most. They are all neutral and luxe and will work with so many outfits. Finally, if you follow me on Instagram (which you totally should!), you may recognize these killer Brother Vellies sandals, a new brand I just learned about at Abejas.
After our shopping fun, we headed out to a fun lunch to wrap up our day. Such fun! Are you in HTX? If so, be sure to stop by Abejas Boutique! Check out Julie’s post about our shopping day, too.
