When I was pregnant with my first son, I would often hear, “Oh boys are great, but the clothes are so much more fun for girls!” And that is still true, no doubt, but clothing for little boys has come a long way. One of my favorite brands that I share with y’all often is Peek Kids, and this week I had the pleasure of co-hosting an in-store fashion show at their shop in the Houston Galleria. Some of my favorite bloggers and I each styled a handful of children in the Peek Kids new summer line. The whole look was California cool: very boho, beach and casual. In other words, DARLING.
One rainy day this week we set up this cute play tent in our house and pretended we were camping. It went right along with the theme of Bennett’s Yosemite graphic tee and rust colored explorer shorts. Adding the button down brings a little style and a nice layer…we’re sticking with the California theme even if we are in Houston.
Graham is wearing these great elastic-waist cargo shorts (easy for potty-training kiddos) and a sweet pocket tee. The look is casual but sharp. My inspiration piece for their combo look was definitely the Yosemite graphic tee. We had a trip of a lifetime to Yosemite a couple years ago and they’ve recently grown out of their souvenir tees – perfect timing!
Shop the look and check out the great sale that Peek Kids going on, up to 50% off.
