I’ve talked about my love of sunglasses before. They are my #1 mama accessory and I literally don’t leave home without them. I’ve been a fan of Warby Parker frames for a while, and today they launched a new collaboration with model Karlie Kloss, who lived and went to high school in Webster Groves, Missouri – the sweet and charming town we lived in during our short 1 year stint in St. Louis. Oh, that was a great year to be in St. Louis…the Cardinals won the World Series (says the Cubs fan) and my precious little Graham was born!
Anyhow, I digress. Back to the Karlie Kloss collaboration. I am swooning over the Marple in Heirloom Gold. At $145, they meet my mama-approved price point criteria. I love the upswept/slight cat-eye shape to the frame and small gold detail on the corners.
Not only am I a fan of the Warby Parker style, but I admire a business model dedicated to the buy a pair, give a pair mentality. For every pair of frames purchased, Warby Parker donates glasses to someone in need. In addition to this commitment, the Karlie Kloss partnership also brings an additional donation from Warby Parker to the Edible Schoolyard NYC, an organization that works with public schools to build kitchens and gardens to help students develop lifelong healthy habits. Style + Giving Back = the way to my heart. How could you not want to rock a pair of these sunnies? I know I do!
