I feel like I’m living in Santa’s workshop this week! I’m a busy bee wrapping up gifts for the wonderful people in our children’s lives. How LUCKY we are to have so many dedicated men and women that look out for their little hearts and minds while they are at school. We are giving a small token of our appreciation to many of the teachers and faculty that work with our boys directly, and I’m pretty excited about it. I always want to give gifts that I would want to receive as well.
Each person is receiving a monogramed coffee mug that I was able to pick up on Black Friday sale from Macy’s. I LOVE a monogram, and this gold letter is shimmery and shiny. The mug is big and sturdy. It’s perfect for perk-me-up coffee, chill-me-out tea, or even holding pencils.
I’m stuffing each mug with a bag of Gray Gardens granola. It’s made locally in small batches and SO SO SO good. It really is a special treat that I hope they all enjoy. For our main teachers (each one of my sons has two teachers in their classroom), we’re also tucking in a gift certificate to a favorite restaurant so they can treat themselves.
Top this all off with a personalized note and some cute gift wrap, and voila! We’re making spirits bright!
What do you do for your teachers?
