We recently moved into a new phase of childhood in our home – losing baby teeth! My older son was a *super* early teether, and is starting to lose his teeth just as early, too. At just 5 years old, he’s already lost his first two bottom teeth. It’s so bittersweet! It’s so exciting for kiddos, but as a mama, I feel like it marks how fast time is moving. I still remember his gummy little smile and writing down the dates of each little tooth as it appeared in his baby book. But now we are in this new phase – how do I capture and treasure these special moments beyond facebook?
Here is where a new find, Mighty Twenty, comes into play. They create darling handmade tooth-fairy pillows and have beautifully designed tooth tracker journals for kiddos who are losing their teeth. My son loves activity books, and the Mighty Twenty journal comes with fun facts about teeth, a list of childhood milestones, a diagram of the mouth, and a dedicated page for each tooth to capture the date and story of how it was lost. We backtracked and spent some time talking through how he lost his first two teeth, and together filled out the journal. Even though it’s only been a few months, we both already had started to forget some details, but through our conversation we collectively remembered where we were and what we were doing. Filling out the first pages of his journal together was such a sweet and sentimental experience for both of us.
All Mighty Twenty products are designed, printed, cut, sewn, stuffed, packaged and shipped in the USA. The craftsmanship is impeccable and the designs are whimsical and sweet. I just love this pillow in the shape of an iceberg with a whale on it. As a special bonus, all pillows come with a mini-sized tracker journal, and Journal purchases come with a mini-stuffed tooth pillow (but without a pocket for the tooth, just a cute little stuffy). In addition to their products, Mighty Twenty has launched a free digital tooth tracker. You can input your tooth-loss data and purchase a printable-PDF when completed. This is a fun way to share your journey with family and friends.
