Hey mamas! Are you like me and have TONS of pictures on your phone but barely ever print them out? I’m honestly four years (4 YEARS!) behind on printing photographs to put into albums. The last album I have includes newborn pictures of my youngest, who is 4 1/2. So when the folks over at CanvasPop reached out to me to talk about a collab, I was ALL over it. Our new home has a lot of wall space and built-in shelving and we’re working hard to fill them with a combination of art and family photographs. I was already a fan of CanvasPop and know from others about their high quality canvas and prints.
I started looking through some photographs to decide which one was worthy of a canvas wrapped print, and decided on this one of the boys playing in the sand in Big Sur. This photograph is nearly three years old if you can believe it, because I barely can! We had a wonderful family trip down to Carmel and Big Sur, and playing in the sand and tide pools on Pfeiffer Beach was one of the highlights.
Now this moment is not only captured in a digital file stored away on my computer, but in this gorgeous, bright, lightweight yet sturdy canvas print. It’s versatile and can be hung on the wall or propped on a shelf. The colors are perfect and the quality is clear as a bell, even though this was taken with my iPhone, which at the time was the 4. Creating canvases from my own pictures turns them into art and decor, so much more than just a picture in a frame, and the price is affordable.
For the time being, I’m propping it up on our built-in shelving. The colors are perfect for our room (it’s a very cool calming palette of tans, grays and light blues). I just love looking over and seeing my boys head to head, playing in the sand. My little one with a pacifier! Time really does move so quickly. This day was such a spiritual and inspirational day for us, and I’m so happy to be reminded of it every time I look at this picture.
My philosophy in life is “I Win – You Win”, so now I want one of YOU to experience this feeling of personalized decor, too, so I’m teaming up with CanvasPop to giveaway a free canvas art print to one lucky Luxe With Kids reader. The print is sized at 16×20″ with 0.75″ deep wrap (same size as mine!), supplied & shipped for free by CanvasPop. Enter by clicking here! Contest ends January 21 2016 at 11:59PM ET. Open to residents of the US, Canada and the European Union.
Thanks so much to CanvasPop. I can’t wait to make my next canvas for our home!
