You all know Sugar & Cloth, right? Well you should for many, many reasons. Most of all, they have the most creative and fun DIY out there, and their Instagram feed is downright inspiring. Not to mention that they are also Houstonians and probably some of the sweetest, most genuine people you’ll meet. Great people + Great ideas!
Speaking of great ideas, check out their recent project – a new public art wall in Houston. We’re already spoiled here with the amount of public art, and this design by Sugar & Cloth is not to be missed.
Megan and I headed over there for the “blogger hour” before the grand opening, and I’m glad we did, because by the time the party started it was full of so many admirers that we wouldn’t have had the chance to take all the fun & silly photos that we did.
Can I just say that “walking with balloons” looks a lot easier than it is?
And it was a windy afternoon?
My favorite outtake! Cracking up!
You might notice the top few photos I showed are a bit lighter and brighter. I used the A Color Story app on my phone and the “Lite Bright” Filter from the Essentials Pack at about 25%. It’s a great filter and keeps the photo natural looking while brightening it up without blasting it or distorting the colors. It’s my favorite photo editing app.
Such fun. Be sure to check it out when you’re in Houston! 3302 Canal Street.
